Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar Airport or Jammu Railway Station – Transfer to Pahalgam

Upon your arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to Pahalgam. If you are arriving at Jammu Railway Station or Airport, a representative will greet you and drive you to Pahalgam. Once there, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Pahalgam – Chandanwari – Sheshnag

Leave Pahalgam, also known as the Valley of Shepherds, and travel towards Chandanwari. Positioned at the confluence of the Sheshnag stream and the Astanmarg stream, Chandanwari (2896 meters) is the starting point for many treks. From there, embark on a 13 km trek to Sheshnag (3576 meters), ascending the Pissu Ghati before reaching the scenic Sheshnag Lake, known for its brisk winds. Dinner and an overnight stay in tents at Sheshnag.

Day 3: Sheshnag – Panchtarni – Amarnath – Panchtarni

Start the trek from Sheshnag to Panchtarni (3657 meters), passing through Mahagunas Pass (3200 meters). Continue to Amarnath cave, located 6 km from Panchtarni. Here, you can take a dip in the icy waters of the Amarnath stream outside the cave and witness the massive Lingmas inside, symbolizing Lord Shiva, Parvathi, and Ganesh. After visiting the cave, trek back to Panchtarni for dinner and an overnight stay in tents.

Day 4: Panchtarni – Baltal

Early in the morning, depart for the Amarnath Holy cave (3953 meters) to see the sacred Ice Lingam, visited by thousands during the full moon. Afterwards, descend to Baltal, a steep 4-hour walk. Overnight stay in tents at Paradise Camping, Baltal.

Day 5: Baltal – Srinagar

In the morning, travel to Srinagar. You may choose to visit Manas Bal Lake and Khear Bawani Temple along the way (additional cost), or proceed directly to Srinagar. Spend the night at a hotel in Srinagar.

Day 6: Srinagar – Airport

After breakfast, you’ll be driven to the airport for your onward journey.
