Day 01: Arrival in Srinagar

Welcome to Srinagar, also known as The Lake City. Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, start your ‘Exotic Kashmir’ tour by transferring to a Houseboat. Enjoy lunch followed by a romantic shikara ride on Dal Lake. Spend the night aboard the Houseboat.

Day 02: In Srinagar | Day Trip to Sonamarg (90 km / approx. 3-hour drive)

Today, set off for a full-day excursion to the picturesque “meadow of gold,” Sonamarg. The swiftly flowing Sindh river makes this location a popular spot for trout and mahseer fishing during the summer. Optional pony rides to the glaciers are available for some snowy fun (at your own expense). Return to your Srinagar hotel in the evening to relax.

Note: The vehicle will drop and pick you up at the Sonamarg car stand. To reach the glaciers, pony hire is available at your own expense.

Day 03: In Srinagar | Day Trip to Gulmarg (85 km / approx. 3-hour drive)

Depart early in the morning for Gulmarg, passing scenic willow trees, fast-flowing streams, and lush green meadows. Known as the “meadow of flowers,” Gulmarg is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and dense forests. Enjoy a leisurely stroll or opt for pony rides (at your own expense) across the green meadow to visit one of the world’s highest Golf Courses. Don’t miss the thrilling ride on the newly introduced Gondola lift (at your own expense). Return to Srinagar in the evening for a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: On to Pahalgam | Srinagar – Pahalgam (102 km / approx. 3½-hour drive)

Check out from the hotel and depart early for Pahalgam, known as the “valley of shepherds.” En route, visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, take time to explore the surrounding beauty or walk to Baisaren, a quaint village nestled in a pine and fir forest offering splendid views. Stay overnight at a hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 05: On to Srinagar | Pahalgam – Srinagar (102 km / approx. 3½-hour drive)

Spend the morning enjoying various activities in Pahalgam, such as trekking, pony trekking, fishing, camping, and nature walks. In the afternoon, check out from the hotel and drive back to Srinagar. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 06: In Srinagar | Srinagar – Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the famous Mughal gardens of Srinagar, namely Nishat Bagh (the Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), both located on the banks of Dal Lake. Nishat Bagh, the larger of the two, is noted for its impressive plantation of Chinar trees on its highest terrace. Each garden features a central waterway with fountains and terraced lawns. Spend the night at a hotel in Srinagar.

Day 07: Return Home with Fond Memories

Following breakfast, you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport to catch your flight, concluding your journey with cherished memories from your ALDAKash Tours & Travels experience.
