Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Local Exploration

Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative or driver. After check-in formalities, start your sightseeing tour in Srinagar. Visit the exquisite Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), and Chasme Shahi Garden. Also, explore the historic Shankaracharya Temple. End the day with a peaceful shikara ride on Dal Lake, then retire for the night at a Srinagar houseboat.

Day 2: Srinagar – Sonmarg Excursion (90 Kms / Approx 3 Hours Drive – One Way)

After breakfast at your accommodation, embark on a scenic drive to Sonmarg, known as the “Meadow of Gold.” The journey itself offers beautiful stops along the way. In Sonmarg, you have the option to ride horses to Thajiwas Glacier, a spot where snow remains year-round. Sonmarg also serves as a gateway for trekking to remote villages like Naranag and visiting alpine lakes such as Vishansar and Krishansar. Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg (60 km / Approx 2-3 Hours Drive)

Post breakfast, set off for a countryside tour heading to Gulmarg. Pass through vibrant villages and expansive rice fields, giving you a glimpse of Kashmir’s rich culture. Gulmarg, notable for the world’s highest golf course and Asia’s largest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola, is a premier hill station famed for skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Enjoy a memorable 08-minute ropeway ride on the Gulmarg Gondola for panoramic views before settling in for the night at a hotel in Gulmarg.

Day 4: Gulmarg to Pahalgam (140 km / Approx 4 Hours Drive)

Following breakfast, depart for Pahalgam, often referred to as the ‘Valley of Shepherds’ or ‘Trekker’s Paradise.’ On your way, stop by the saffron fields, visit the historic Awantipur ruins—an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu constructed by King Awantiverma—and enjoy the captivating countryside and rice fields. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check into your hotel. Spend your afternoon taking a leisurely walk, soaking in the stunning mountain scenery. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 5: Pahalgam Sightseeing and Exploration

Start the day with breakfast before exploring the rocky and scenic valley of Chandanwadi and Snow Point, about 14 km from Pahalgam. Consider taking a pony ride for an adventurous touch (note: this is at your own expense). Spend the evening strolling through Pahalgam, then return to your hotel for dinner. Please note, in Pahalgam, only local taxis are allowed for sightseeing; vehicles from outside are limited to pick-up and drop-off services.

Day 6: Pahalgam to Srinagar Airport Drop (100 Km / Approx. 3½ Hour Drive)

Enjoy a final buffet breakfast, check out from the hotel, and depart for Srinagar Airport to catch your onward flight, filled with pleasant memories of your trip. Important: It’s advisable to leave the hotel at least 4 hours before your flight due to strict security measures at the airport, which include passing through four security barriers and may cause delays.
